Trevor Bayne scores a Top-10 at Montreal

• Trevor Bayne, No. 99 OUT! Pet Care Toyota Camry - Finished 10th - Now eighth in points.

Trevor Bayne Race Summary: In only his third NASCAR Nationwide Series road course race in his brief career, No. 99 OUT! Pet Care driver Trevor Bayne earned a 10th-place finish and remained eighth in the championship point standings. The 19-year-old driver started the race 20th, but climbed into the top 10 by lap 19. The Knoxville, Tenn., native raced sixth and appeared ready to compete for the victory in the closing laps. With four laps remaining Bayne and J.R. Fitzpatrick made contact sending the No. 99 Toyota into the wall. The OUT! Pet Care Camry suffered major damage, forcing it to limp home in 10th— the eighth top-10 finish of the season. Next weekend the Nationwide series heads to Atlanta for Saturday night’s race.

• Bayne started 20th and finished 10th
• Eighth top-10 finish of the season and 10th of his career
• Narrowly avoided several incidents early in the race
• Raced in 10th by lap 19 and as high as fourth during a pit cycle with 27 laps remaining
• Restarted sixth on lap 67 then involved in two on-track incidents
• Suffered front and rear damage as he attempted to avoid a wreck on lap 68, but stayed out.
• Bumped by J.R. Fitzpatrick and made contact with the outside wall causing a flat tire on lap 73
• Bayne restarted 10th—the last car on the lead lap for the green-white-checkered finish and finished 10th.
• In 40 starts, Bayne has four poles, four top-five and 10 top-10 finishes

BAYNE QUOTE: "We had a really good OUT! Pet Care Toyota today. I learned so much. I had a lot of fun today. Once we were able to run consecutive green flag laps I started to get a lot faster. I am really happy with a top-10 finish however I think we could have finished top five if we didn't get wrecked. Overall, it was a great day for the No. 99 team."
